1700 Lida St is an essay video that explores how architectural design influences movement, memory, and behavior through the lens of mid-20th-century modernist architect Craig Ellwood. This video critiques the male-dominated field of architecture, questioning how gender bias shapes our interactions with spaces and reflecting on the use of glass as a surveillance mechanism in modern architecture. The second piece, Bones of Memory, comprises two sculptures that reimagine architecture in a more organic form and invert traditional power dynamics. The third, Tracing Blueprints, includes three wall pieces that interrogate the concept of site specificity, examining what it means to overlay different sites to create a new, hybrid space.
